ABOUT
Te Pohue Camp is a campsite located in Te Pohue, 10 minutes from the Mohaka River, 40 minutes from Napier, Hawke’s Bay and 1 hour 20 minutes from Taupo.
We have various options for camping, caravans and private rooms and offer a great place to stay while exploring the local activities.
Set in 2021 by Norm (Mohaka Rafting), Deon (Raft Fish NZ) and Henry (Tahau Transport) who collaborated to create a holiday park and transport centre. The campsite is based at the old Esk Forest headquarters. All local Te Pohue people who look forward to hosting you in their beautiful slice of Hawke’s Bay.
The perfect place to stay when rafting with MOHAKA RAFTING or RAFT FISH NZ or using TAHAU TRANSPORT.
As we are located in the forest we have a no fire policy. We also have an active fire station at the campsite with a loud siren which can cause some excitement if the fire service is called out locally.

We are located in Te Pohue, a 40 minute drive inland from Napier. We have designated areas for camping and caravans as well as a separated spot for school camps.
